What is OPay?

Who's eligible?

Opraah's exclusive creators. If there's a campaign-specific exception, your Talent Manager will tell you, not a mystery email at 11pm.

When does the 48-hour clock actually start?

The second your invoice is approved. Not when you hit submit, not when you think about submitting it.

What do I do once my campaign goes live?

Submit your live link, raise your invoice on the creator portal, and make sure your details are complete. Then it goes into the approval queue.

When do I get paid?

Within 48 hours of approval. That's the whole pitch.

I haven't submitted my invoice yet. Now what?

Do it now-ish. The clock doesn't start until it's in and approved, so the delay is, respectfully, on you.

Where do I even generate this invoice?

Through the creator portal, uploaded or generated there. Your Talent Manager will show you the ropes.

What if there's an error on my invoice?

We'll flag it and ask for a fix. Once the corrected version is approved, the 48-hour window kicks in, fresh start.

Does the 48 hours start at submission or approval?

No. It just means the window hasn't started. Ping your Talent Manager for a status check if you're curious.

My campaign had multiple deliverables. Do I invoice per deliverable?

Complete all agreed deliverables first, unless your Talent Manager has told you otherwise for that campaign. Then raise the invoice, and the clock starts once it's approved.

Talk to your Talent Manager immediately. They'll check the status and escalate it, no need to loop in anyone else.

Do I need to chase this myself?

Nope. That's the entire point of OPay. Once it's approved, we track it. Your Talent Manager's there if you have questions, not because you need to nudge us.

OPay applies to campaigns for Opraah's exclusive creators. Exceptions, if any, come from your Talent Manager.

Why did Opraah even start this?

Because a creator isn't a one-person show, there's a whole crew behind the scenes: editors, managers, production folks, all waiting on the same payment you are. A late payment doesn't just annoy you, it stresses out your entire team. We think you've earned the money already; you shouldn't have to fight for it too.

Is this a limited-time gimmick?
